The Arts & Craft style home at 66 Baby Point Road belonged to long standing Baby Point residents, Clark and Marjorie Merryfield.

They put it up for sale in late 2008 and it was bought by a Toronto Business Executive in the Public Relations and Survey Field.

Shortly after purchase, it was announced that the new owner planned on demolishing the property and replace it with a much larger home, complete with an Olympic size pool!
